I like it. An effective manipulation, but there are a few things in the image that I find don't work. Firstly, the clear, clean ...

Retrospect

Fri Aug 14, 2009, 4:40 AM
Just doing a poll on Deviant by this fine gentleman :iconalanjunior: has put me in a retrospective mood, so I thought I'd put some thoughts down.

Over the last month or so a number of major changes have taken place in my life, and I find myself in a weird position. I'm not going to bleed that story out, but the result has been a very productive and highly motivated period when it really, really should be anything but - and I have no idea why. Perhaps focusing on my creative work and my passions is a way of distracting myself and not feeling down.

Anywho, onto the topic of arts and stuff. I have a couple of images in the works for deviant, both should be up in the next couple of days, possibly one of them tonight if I don't fall asleep. I've been getting more into 3D, After effects and new Photoshop techniques and I hope to have some pretty cool stuff by the end of semester.

Going to Melbourne for a freelance job in a month, hoping to try to organise some job interviews with some offices while I'm there.:fingerscrossed:

Will you be submitting the photos from the Cosplay on here?
:icondahoota:
Nope. They are on FB though. Who's this? If you want a copy I'm more than happy to give them to you =D
:icondeathbynature:
I was the one with the afro and aviators.
I have seen them on FB, just thought you were doing some editting with them since you took the ohotos in front of a blue screen.

Greetings Dahoota,

I'm not sure if i've already said something to you about this (as I had meant to), but...

great job on the photo we shot with arsenik at brickworks. It was really cool to see your rendition done, especially since I had no idea it was going to happen and I was in Tokyo at the time.

unfortunately I dont really use deviant art anymore.. But if you are ever looking for more movement based photos to manipulate I'd love to show you some.

Just shoot me an email at: jonnycaines@hotmail.com

(as I may not remember to check back here)

also feel free to check out:

No worries. Anytime - if I have an area of expertise its definitely photo-manipulation and I'm always more than happy to ramble on about it =P.
:iconjasminejean:
Yes, your expertise definitely is photo-manipulation and I appreciate getting feedback from someone like you;)
