Please read this I would appreciate any feedback/input.
For my major project this semester, I am doing an illustration class called ‘Fuck your fear’. Basically an open ended image making class where we have to make a book based around the topic of fear.
My concept for the project is create a ‘childrens book’ that goes through the Alphabet Animalia style, except with different fears for each letter, each letter getting its own illustration. For this I am creating a series of characters that will be present on each image, and will be experiencing or enacting each fear (So for example B is for Burnt to Death, and one or more of the characters will be burning another character).
The book is meant to be presented with the manner and tone of a children’s book, but with some very adult content.
Check out my recent deviations to see the characters as they currently are.

Now, one of the reasons I am posting this up on Deviant is to get a bit of input in choosing the fears. A couple of letters in particular are very difficult to make interesting images of or simply find interesting fears for (namely the letter 'Y').
So the fears so far. I know there are a couple of big ones I have missed, but they would just be impossible to make a good illustration for or there was a more important fear for same letter (I could think of heaps of ‘D’ fears for example). I did come up with some for the missing letters but they were....well lame.
A is for All Alone
B is for Burnt Alive
C is for Clowns
D is for Death
E is for Elevators
F is for Failure
G is for Ghosts
H is for Heights
I is for Insecurity
J is for Jealousy
K
L is for Lightning
M is for Monsters under the bed
N is for Nuclear War
O is for getting Old
P is for Public Speaking
Q is for Quicksand/Quake
R is for Rejection
S is for Snakes, Sharks and Spiders (I plan to do these in the same illustration)
T
U
V is for Vampires
W is for Water (drowning)
X is for Xenophobia
Y
Z is for Zombie Apocalypse! (The heroic climax where everyone dies)
So let me know if you can think of a fear for the missing letters or you think there is something that deserves to be on the list that I have missed. I think I'm going to have a lot of fun with some of these images

Prints!
Hey peeps,
So I started selling some of my work as art prints on Society6 recently. Being the fine people they are, they've featured my work and until the 9th of November are selling it with FREE SHIPPING WORLD WIDE (kind of a big deal when you're ordering stuff to the other side of the world).

Trying new things
I've just finished a new piece and video to go with it showing how the image was made from start to finish. It crunches about 50 hours of work into 30 minutes. Check it out:
This was not as simple as I had thought it would be and took up sickening amounts of hard drive space screen capturing the full process.
If anyone has any ideas on how I can improve the process or make the video more digestible I'm open to suggestions!
Where are you going for your art fix?
In the last few years DA's share of global net traffic has been dropping off quite steadily and significantly - not really surprising given how much competition is out there now in terms of art websites.
Here's some of the data here: http://www.alexa.com/siteinfo/deviantart.com Note as well DA's rank has dropped 16 places in the last 3 months alone. I've been noticing this as well in terms of the raw number of views my work has been getting too (though the fav/view ratio has been going up dramatically, which is kinda the only important one to me). When I got a DD a few months ago the piece got less than 5,000 views, where in the past for DD'
The best way to improve your skills?
In the last few months my work process and the techniques I employ have undergone some pretty major changes and have evolved more than over the course of the entire previous year or so. I was wondering why this was over the course of creating my most recent deviation: http://fav.me/d4y4eid As noticed my rendering methods were significantly improved (I think anyway)
The reason? I had recently pulled apart and dissected my methods while writing a recent tutorial of PSD Tuts+. Being forced to actually write it all out and seriously think about how I did things was pretty enlightening. When writing the instructions I had to thi
